Las Vegas

This coming weekend I’ll be embarking on what is likely to be one last “big trip” for myself and a lot of my close friends.

Over the past couple of years I’ve had the luxury of traveling with the guys (to a lot of amazing places) whenever I pleased; but come August 2009 many of us will be in different parts of the country for a plethora of different reasons:

LOS ANGELES: Ryan Ammons (Fighting Fires), Jeff Goodhart (Terranea), Paul Ashcraft III (UPS) Brian Oh (work)

NEW YORK: Myself (life), Riley Graetz (Post-Back, Columbia), Ryan Suh (Ernest & Young), Daniel Ward (Design School, Parsons)

SAN FRANCISCO: Jonathan Chen (Graduate School, SFSU)

SEATTLE: Ed Chang (Rain)

WASHINGTON D.C: Braunson Virjee (Law School, American)

Who knows how permanent the moves will be, life really has no guarantees. I’m happy with the knowledge that I’ll have a comfy couch to crash on wherever I go, and that my friends have the same luxury with me.

WELCOME BACK!

It was over a year ago that I posted about a humble little cabin nestled in Oso Grande.

It’s been a long wait, but well worth it. Lots more trips to come before the move to NY.

Tonight I want to officially welcome you back…

Before This Happens…

Real self esteem isn’t something that wavers. It’s not dependent and it doesn’t vary.

…OK

Drove down to Palm Springs (Rancho La Quinta Country Club) for a guys weekend last Friday. I turned 50 and 18 all at the same time…

in attendance: Daniel Ward, Riley Graetz, Ryan Ammons, and of course me

LA –>SB–>SF in one weekend? No problem…but if you’re Vanessa add a flight from NY–>LA and back to the schedule, just make life a little more interesting.

The pictured gesture above pretty much wraps up the personality and likeness of jOn (below).

I felt like I had to share a secret with you today…

Sometimes when I’m out people wanna know where I learned to move. The problem is I’ve never been completely honest with them. I’ll tell em a friend, Riley Graetz, highschool, anything…

Today I’m tired of hiding my secret…it’s time for you to know where I really learned to get down.

My most coveted moves: the butt smack and the belly jiggle…in addition to “mixing the pot”

Hi!

Wanted to let you in again, if only for a moment

I realize I’ve been awful at updating my blog recently. It seems that Twitter may be stealing a good amount of my writing steam.

These days life is also a bit less interesting, so I don’t feel quite as creative most of the time. Rather, things are going well at the moment, so there’s less to pontificate on. That’s the problem with happiness…it often stifles creativity, at least for me.

Much of my time is spent in an office, at meetings, and/or on my Blackberry. I’ve found a new…”interest” if you will, and a lot of my time and thought also goes into that.

Mostly things remain unchanged. I plan on moving to NY in August so keep your fingers crossed for me in that department…please.

I want to get back into “where the light is”. I feel like this little space on the web is my baby and I’ve been a bad parent. Time to change the diaper

Catch up soon

-Kev
